I'm Mike, a product and technology leader with about 15 years of experience building software in finance, fintech, and AI. I hold an MBA and have spent most of my career on the product side, figuring out how to take complex information and make it genuinely useful for the people trying to use it.

This project started with my own parents. Watching them research a single decision, a new phone, a Medicare question, whether a suspicious email was a scam, they'd end up with fifteen browser tabs open, a legal pad full of notes, and more confusion than when they started. They'd read the same recycled listicles rewritten under different headlines, each one trying to sell them something.

I kept thinking: there has to be a better way to help people 50+ navigate this. The information exists. It's just scattered, contradictory, and written for search engines instead of for readers.

So I started building one. SeniorTechChoice reviews technology products, phones, tablets, hearing aids, medical alerts, smart home devices, through the specific lens of what actually works for adults 50+. I use AI to synthesize patterns across hundreds of real buyer reviews, then apply editorial judgment to identify what's genuinely worth your money. I'm transparent about what I am and what I'm not: I'm a product person who knows technology. For medical devices that cross into healthcare territory, I rely on credentialed reviewers whose names appear on those articles.
